  • Hi Justine, yes I have afew pieces, the dark jeans mine are black, I've afew jackets I love one is a Harris Tweed I love it but ive recently bought a double breasted jacket I bought as a suit ( yes naughty, cos I also purchased another dark blue suit , which I love I kept looking at it them both for 3 days I just had to have them a very naughty buy ) but I wore the dark blue one the other day meeting my friends for lunch first time in 4 month, as I've lost weight my friend both said I looked fab in it, yes I love wearing t-shirts but they're long sleeved ones I have them in plain and striped they're really good quality Seasalt t-shirts don't twist and wash well I love white shirts wear them alot also ballerinas and loafers in 3colours black navy blue and tan so comfy, unfortunately I am unable to wear killer heels anymore but I love my flats I love chunky jumpers and have a high kneck sweater but my love is my grey chunky jumper and a nice scarf and have loads I should sort them out but I'm too attached to them my friends and daughter have bought most of them and I use them depending on what I'm wearing . But buying quality clothes are good you can wear them and they last, from shoes to clothes you pay for good quality cos it lasts I've a white blouse from Laura Ashley I've had it for 24yrs still perfect still white I won't part with it ever xxx

And if so is it a t-shirt? Or blouse?

  • I'm a new york woman. Fine Artist. Interior Designer. I have a great love of Paris. Just saw your PAworld vlog by chance. Turns out I apply all of what you said to my wardrobe! I do deviate for my own personal style. But your advice is what I apply to my core wardrobe. Key foundation. I find most of my interior design color, pattern, texture play articulates to my fashion choices. Loved all you had to say. Extra loved that it implies I am a bit Parisian when it comes to my personal style w/out trying :) ! Blazer is key. I own tons. Work to play to dress. Turtle neck sweater (check) t-shirts(check) scarves( check) I own at least 25. I am shoe and bag hoarder. Glasses, hats, accessories of all kinds. Love to know what you say about accessories! I do usually apply the take one accessory off when questiong if you've over accessorized. Use that for my clients with decor! From a design meets fashion stand point, I have to agree with all your tips! I truly adore you describe as "Paris style" for my own reasons. I always have a pair or 2, cute flats in my bag. You are a girl after my own style ♡ . I subscribed. Will keep following. I 100% follow the 24 to 48 hours wait when considering an expensive wardrobe piece. If I cannot stop thinking about it, have looked at a bunch of my outfits & find the piece in question has much cross over value; I then know it's worth the purchase. If I don't think about it I know I just saved $ & return time. Thumbs up for coming across approachable, friendly & giving wonderful advice briefly but fully & easy for everyone to grasp. Not overwhelming or intimidating! Great job. I am fan. I'm a bit stir crazed as we all are; so it was fun to find and enjoy your vlog. Keep it up:) looking forward to seeing more. Oh & extra kudos for your LBD explanation! It is very true that LBD does not mean extra short. My fav LBD can fold up in my bag but long sleeved, falls just bellow knee ,exposed back. High neckline. Fitted. Something my gram told me yrs ago always stuck with me "A true fashion forward lady should always only expose 1 area of flesh in a bit of an extreme way at a time." Of course keeping season in mind. I wonder if you agree:) Be well. Stay safe & healthy & of course fashionable! I will stay tuned. Ty.

  • My USA dilema: I work at sports facility, drive car almost everywhere, have two kids, hate shopping even grocery, have low budget. 😂 Well, at least until now. I never purchased any pieces as it was just easier to wear jeans and shirts and tennis shoes. Driving in high heels is challenging and damages the heel. But kids got older (don't have to chase them, help them dressed and whatnot) and I feel I need to get more stylish with my age. So am slowly building wardrobe, but really think about what I want and what makes me look well put together before I buy. I even used my umbrella couple times 😂😂😂 (live north of Seattle, it's raining here all the time, but nobody bothers with umbrellas 😉)

  • Well, I'm french, I'm parisian ... and I own everything. I just get rid of my ballerinas because I prefer a good pair of derbies. It's more my style and I rather not change my shoes when I arrive at work. Except ballerinas, I have everything. But my derbies are flat shoes, so I think it works. I also have a lot of skincare, and I tend to put just a red lipstick. My specialty is to wear a bold red one during the day, which is not that common in France. Because people tend to prefer a more neutral one on day time and reserve red for night.

Build your warderobe based on them, and you get endless cobination options. My favourite combinations are : A).Camel/white/ turquoise.(or pale blue) B) Black (or grey)/white/reds C) Greens/white (or cream)/pinks D) Browns/cream/ orange and yellows. 🤗
