So I’m definitely watching this.

  • Rebirth in Buddhism refers to its teaching that the actions of a person lead to a new existence after death, in an endless cycle called saṃsāra. This cycle is considered to be dukkha, unsatisfactory and painful. The cycle stops only if liberation is achieved by insight and the extinguishing of craving. Rebirth is one of the foundational doctrines of Buddhism, along with karma, nirvana and moksha. The rebirth doctrine in Buddhism, sometimes referred to as reincarnation, asserts that rebirth does not necessarily take place as another human being, but as an existence in one of the six Gati (realms) called Bhavachakra. The six realms of rebirth include Deva (heavenly), Asura (demigod), Manusya (human), Tiryak (animals), Preta (ghosts), and Naraka (resident of hell). Rebirth, as stated by various Buddhist traditions, is determined by karma, with good realms favored by Kushala (good karma), while a rebirth in evil realms is a consequence of Akushala (bad karma). While Nirvana is the ultimate goal of Buddhist teaching, much of traditional Buddhist practice has been centered on gaining merit and merit transfer, whereby one gains rebirth in the good realms and avoids rebirth in the evil realms.

    • very much so, also there is a dissociation due to trauma, dissociation is a way of protecting the fragile mind in horrific circumstances. We don't know when they had those experiences. Our entire body has nerve cells that read the environment around us. Even in the first episode I have an issue with the fact that doctor did not tell anyone about her son's vision of the death, only the son, which makes it impossible to verify.

  • one of the mediums said that when you see a sign, that sign will be easy to see, and you will see it like you see anything else; well, she was so right, I had a sweet little cat who died of complications from a surgery, and after I came home, I sat on my sofa, I looked up and there he was, sitting on the coffee table, he turned his head looked at me, and then, he jumped up and away; he was healthy, and beautiful; I had always heard that the other side was on a plane approx. 3 feet higher than the one we are on now, because when he left, he jumped up, and into 'something' that I couldn't see, like through a thin veil; I was more at peace that day, after seeing that. My wonderful partner died in 2019, but as far as I know I have never seen any signs from him :( I believe that animals are honest beings, and don't have any spite or hate; so if you are open to seeing them, you will. A long time ago I fed a out door cat, she would come to my sliding glass door on my porch, she had to climb some stairs, and jump up on the railing, then jump down to get the food, it was a distinctive sound that I heard every morning, and I would see her there, then one morning I heard the sound, but did not see her, and that happened for the next week, then it stopped, the food was always there waiting for her, but it was never eaten, my kids heard it too, so it wasn't just me.

  • If you are nice to these shows, then you can consider them as storytime for believers. They provide no good evidence, or anything remarkably new. They just tell stories and believes. If you are not nice to these shows, then they are just ways to make money of peoples believes, fears, and ignorance. And the sad sideeffect is that they reinforce nonsensical believes. Those shows are basically the opposite to a show that educates.

Few days after he passed, I was able to hear his voice several times. My brother felt his touch. My mom witnessed his image from our window twice . Even my fiance heard his voice once. All of this faded away quickly. I wish to hear his voice once more and tell him how much he meant to me. We never get to say goodbye. It was an ordinary day until he dropped to the floor and would never wake up again.

Right after her ‘spirit team’ left her body she takes a sip of water and acts slightly disoriented. I’m no scientist but I’d venture to guess if you’ve had multiple energies entering and exiting your body it would look like something different and you would come up with something better than you like ugly green cars and fish lmao

I’m on the second episode of the mediums and I can’t wait til it’s over. it’s always in america you get these weirdos acting as if they are some kind of spiritual god or powerful presence.

  • Hey everyone, I was born psychic and can communicate with spirits and those who have crossed over. I don't do it as a business. I don't make money on it. I just wanted to voice out that the mediumship episodes are complete garbage. Ectoplasm is so 1900s spiritualism and most are faked with fabrics. I don't know why she even talks about it. You can get ectoplasm formations like fog in haunted places, but it rare. IT doesn't hurt like she says. If anything, it's just energy formations.. As someone who has undergo volunteer possessions, the voices of the people they are challenging is completely faked. At best you sense or hear their voices telepathically. The odd word will come out or whispers, but not a full open dialogue like they are doing. Also, why are they in complete darkness, strapped to chairs, and singing? Complete theatrics- that's why. The voice of Cloud whatever, the doctor and Tommy was cringe. I feel sorry for Aman. The male medium completely failed to read his Dad at all, and the short haired blonde just used what they knew already. He wanted to connect with his Dad. I don't doubt that his father did show up like she said and he sensed it, but the rest where charlatans. Sitting in a curtained box in the dark and making up terrible voice impressions- how pathetic. Also, if I came across a little boy in spirit - I'd cross him over!! Fun fact:, many darker type spirits will pretend they are young children spirits to gain your trust and have them speak and engage with them. A great way to invite poltergeist or negative entities into your home.

The long blonde hair medium knows it's a con and tells the mark exactly what they want to hear. Like not even trying to come up with some BS, she just says the most basic shit youd wanna hear. But that's what it really is. It's a swindler who plays a therapist. The sad person desperately wants to hear the basic stuff and the swindler tells them that. Everyone's happy. I wonder how long could a swindler do this without feeling regret at some point.

  • The code word thing is golden. Psychics wont see if you mention. Something like that before hand becuz they know they're going to get busted. This psychic lady gets busted by obviously uses the internet to research her mark. She says do you like fish (the guys family own a fish shop),he says yes. Then the ghost asks, your dads saying hook it up? And the guys wowed. Come to find out on the menu of the guys fish store it shows a picture of his dad saying hook it up. Clearly she had googled him.

    Ghost HostGhost Host12 ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ
  • When the one medium claims to be talking that guys passed on father, she doesn't speak their language nor understands it. Then she says his dad is saying let go dear and it's ok dear. No dad calls their son dear especially one that speaks another language. They probably dont even use the word dear in that form. I hate when psychics start saying the same shit like they want you to let go and you're amazing. A psychic should be able to not get any replies from their subject and the 2 should be blocked by a wall or something to hide the subjects tells. You will NEVER have a medium use this because they all subconsciously pick up on tells. I think half of them really have committed so much to their powers that theyve bought into their own BS. It's all about money. I saw they charged $560 for their meeting plus extras. Why wouldn't these psychics go out and solve murderers or do anything positive with their gifts that isnt them sitting in a room taking money from people. No matter what medium it is, it always comes down to that. Money being exchanged and new customers being duped.

    Ghost HostGhost Host12 ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ
  • The lady medium who does the voices is so phony. She claims a little boy spirit comes through in her trance and takes over her body. When this happens "Tommy" talks like no child I have ever heard in my life other than on movies. This kid chimes in and says shit like "hi all, I'm Tommy. I'm here to clean up the ectoplasm. I've got a dirty job to do dont i". Then she talks about a guy who's family owns a chain of fishing shops. She asks him if he likes fish. Tommy then says you had a green car. "Green like a frog." When hes leaving the lady is clearly faking it all. NO CHILD TALKS like theyre on a disney movie set. Let a lone a ghost child who's been around for x number of years. This was so comical that it ruins the whole show. Her older lady voice is whack also. It's so far beyond pretending that I think this lady actually has developed some insanity where shes created these cheesy characters in her head. People do not talk like the way she claims to be transmitting. I believe some people may have some heighten senses and all that but this lady is bad. At least on that UK ghost hunter show their attempt to talk like a real person when "they're transmitting " a spirit. The words she uses are so basic.

  • Are we having these experiences AFTER we're brain-dead? Or are they occurring during the few seconds when our brain begins to regain consciousness? I don't trust the human desperation that drives people to search for evidence of the afterlife. Those who want to find "something" will always find something to justify their beliefs. Why don't Hindus see Christian imagery? Why don't Protestants see saints and the Virgin Mary? Why do people who swear they see the fires of hell and hear the screams of the "damned" always have something in their pasts to feel guilty about? How can there be a genuine "afterlife" if our brain tissue begins rotting and decomposing when we're dead?

Pam came out of her body and watched the surgeon using the drill on her head. At that time the surgeon will have had the monitor beside him showing no brain waves. he wouldn't drill her head whilst the screen was showing brain waves. Pam was flatlined when she was out of her body. Please do not write silly comments like you did above without doing your own research. there are many books out there by dr peter fenwick, sam parnia, pim van lommel. on amazon website. buy them yourself, read them, study consciousness for many years like dr fenwick has then come back for a debate. Untl then ...ZIP IT.

      Live LifeLive Life11 ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ
    • @Live Life Can you provide links to your assertions? I have no reason to believe Pam Reynolds saw anything while "flatlining". I will believe she heard sounds while unconscious that she may have interpreted as hearing while she was "dead". But for claims such as "life after death" I need far more evidence than fanciful tales. So far, there has been zero scientifically verified documentation of an out of body experience. The James Randi Foundation offered $1 million to anyone who could prove things like telepathy and out of body experiences. They still have their $1 million.

      Kris AaronKris Aaron11 ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ
    • "are we having these experiences AFTER we're brain dead or when our brain regains consciousness" you're missing the point. when someone is flatlined with no brain waves (or certainly limited brain function), their eyes shut, and unconscious, YET they lift out of their body, to the roof and watch their resuscitation from above, often with vivid and lucid awareness, then you must question the relationship between Brain and Mind. These are not illusions nor are they occurring as the person comes round because often the person who is "out of the body" is able to verify the moment they left to the body - such as what happened with Pam Reynolds who featured in the documentary. She was watching her operation during a time when the monitor showed her brain flatlined. I rest my case.

  • My children will not be wearing masks, having their temperature checked, getting tested, sitting in "sugar cubes", using hand sanitizer or washing their hands hundreds of times a day, using any tracking apps or being vaccinated when they go back to school (or ever) and any nurses or doctors that visit their school will not be granted access to them. In fact, I'm not even going to send them to school to be exposed to any of the nonsense that's taking place there. Vaccines have all kinds of harmful and toxic chemicals and ingredients in them but along with those awful things they also contain aborted dead baby human parts. No way. I will never get a vacinne. Especially for a fake virus. Who knows what the long term affects will be for this rushed out vacinne as well. Where are all of the sick people? Where are all of the dying and the dead? Where are all of the grieving families? Why are there so many people across the world uploading videos of empty hospitals that were claimed to have been filled to capacity and overwhelmed? Why did Italy admit that ninety nine percent of their coronavirus deaths also had other more serious health issues, were very old or both? Why has the CDC issued orders to label any deaths doctors can as coronavirus deaths even when there are other more serious health issues that they have died from? Why are there so many families suing because their family members are being dishonestly labeled as having died from coronavirus? I have tons of other questions like that too. Also, there's this : "Common colds are among the most common illnesses. Many different viruses (rhinoviruses, adenoviruses, coronaviruses, and human metapneumoviruses) cause colds, but rhinoviruses (of which there are more than 100 subtypes) cause most colds. Colds caused by rhinoviruses occur more commonly in the spring and fall. Other viruses cause common coldlike illnesses at other times of the year." Go ahead and verify that with however many sources you wish. If you have any old medical textbooks or books dealing with viruses, they will state the same also. Covid-19 is a H O A X. Show me the evidence that convinced you that you should surrender all of your rights, freedoms, the ability to provide for yourself and your family, months (so far) of your life, the world economy, the lives of all the people who required life saving and/or life extending treatments and procedures but could not get them due to a H O A X and were later most likely labeled as having died from covid-19 and sooooo much more and then explain to me how that wasn't a huge mistake. The tests aren't even looking for a virus of any type. All they're doing is looking for things that may or may not be there if there was a virus present (not specifically covid-19) but those things may or may not be there for a ton of other reasons too. One being if you've had a flu shot. There is no real test for covid-19 because there is no covid-19. Face masks are the new aluminium foil hats except for that aluminium foil hats don't limit your oxygen intake by up to twenty percent and force you to breathe your own carbon dioxide. That's not good for you for a ton of reasons. One of them being that it will drastically lower your immune system which will make it easier for you to catch non H O A X related illnesses. They will also make you a lot more susceptible to things like heart attacks, strokes and even cancer. Before the covid-19 H O A X, in the state of New York for example, if you wanted to wear a face mask on the job for occupations like drywallling, landscaping, construction, painting had to get checked out by and have a form filled out by a doctor stating that you are healthy enough to wear a face mask and even then, they're still a health hazard. Recently two Chinese students died because they were wearing face masks all the time and a Chinese man had his left lung collapse after jogging a couple of miles while wearing a face mask. My medical condition is that I absolutely require one hundred percent of the oxygen available to me as well as having to expel one hundred percent of the carbon dioxide within me with each exhale. They also cannot force you to disclose your medical reasons for not wearing a face mask. If you don't want a hassle, tell them you cannot wear one for medical reasons. I'm just going to tell them "NO". Go onto the city of Toronto website (For example. Feel free to use other resources to check into it too.) and have a look for yourself. Anyone and everyone is exempt from wearing a face mask. All you have to do is tell them you're exempt. It is against the law for any establishment, store, arena, museum harass you about it, treat you differently or even ask you why. Even if it wasn't the law I would still never comply with any of this H O A X but it is so go take a look. Any store that gives me a problem with not wearing a mask is never going to get my business again. Ever. Not in person, online or in any other capacity. I'll also give them a horrible review on every available platform. Covid-19 is fraud. Social distancing is useless. No masks, tests, drugs, quarantines, steroids, vacinnes, temperature checks, immunity passports, social bubbles, social circles, circles drawn on the ground or trackers for me or my family. EVER. I'm not about to give anyone my personal information for a plate of spaghetti or any other reason at all either. Ever. Stop participating with all of the nonsense. At this point in time your willful ignorance is inexcusable and dangerous to yourself as well as others. You're really just as guilty as the ones who are intentionally doing this to us. For anyone who is somehow still managing to believe there's a real pandemic taking place, how much longer would this have to continue and how much worse will you allow their "rules" and "recommendations" to get before you will have had enough? Where exactly do you draw the line? Take a look at what your complicity and compliance is doing to yourself and everyone else. You're ruining lives, killing people and destroying the world as we know it. You're the ones enabling them to continue to do this to us. Stop wearing the masks. Stop getting tested. Stop "social distancing" yourself from others and especially your own family and friends. Stop living in fear. Live your lives how you used to before this giant lie of a pandemic began or it will never end. They'll just keep taking and taking and taking from you as long as you keep giving and giving and giving until there is nothing left. When you hold a protest, you're asking for permission and then when you leave without getting what you came for, you're giving your consent and complying with what you went to protest against. Everyone, or at least the majority of people, needs to stop complying with and consenting to anything and everything related to this enormous lie. Open your businesses and conduct business as you used to before this H O A X, carry on in your personal lives just as you used to before this fraud and do everything you're told not to do and nothing you are being told you should. Mass noncompliance. That's the only way this ends. The pandemic is an enormous lie. Covid-19 is a H O A X. All of our "leaders" and most news media are lying, treasonous criminals who need to be removed from their positions and dealt with appropriately.

    • That’s the problem with a lot of this stuff, is that people tend to group everything that’s outside of commonly accepted beliefs as ‘paranormal’. For example, mediums/ghosts (questionable) are put with NDE’s and Past Life Memories and considered of the same merit. For the latter, the sheer frequency and amount of similarities in testimony paired with the physical evidence to back it up (i.e. brain dead for over an hour, or recalling verifiable details of past life) really sets them apart.

    • @glennsmooth when someone "flatlines" with no brain waves, no heartbeat, eyes shut, and unconscious and YET they lift out of their bodies to the roof and witness everything happening below them with coherent lucid awareness you HAVE to then question whether mind is JUST brain activity or whether there is something else unique going on. those who say maybe these people are having an illusion or a "brain storm" before death must remember that the experience is ULTRA vivid and more real than waking consciousness :)

BUT playing devil's advocate, if there is life after death, then why not assume that some people on earth can "mentally" connect with the departed...such as a "medium" being able to download information into their consciousness from someone who has died. Take away the title "Medium" and use something like "A Sensitive"...someone sensitive to information otherwise not accessible by the regular 5 senses. saying that, i do not trust the vast majority of these so called "sensitives" as many charge a lot of money and all they say is general things.

  • The Netflix documentary series "Life after Death" has its merit in reflecting on the continuity of life after the end of the material body. This is still a comfort for those who are suffering the loss of a loved one or are facing the end of an existence. However, the following precautions must be taken: 1 - The search for answers would be solved by reading the basic works of the Spiritist Codification organized by Allan Kardec (Spirits 'Book, Mediums' Books, Genesis, Heaven and Hell, O which is Spiritism and the Gospel according to Spiritism). It would be the best remedy for the suffering identified in the characters of the series. For this reason, it is recommended to study the doctrine seriously in order not to fall into mistakes and mystifications. 2 - We don't talk about God, which is a serious mistake in my point of view. There is talk of expanded consciousness, but it omits supreme intelligence, the primary source of all things. 3 - Communication with the disincarnated can be done through heart prayer, sincere, without rituals or something like that. This calms and allows the interested party to receive the help that he deserves. 4 - The mediums in activity presented in the series should strictly follow the procedures reported in the Mediums' Book, precisely, so as not to be the object of different types of obsessions (simple obsession, fascination and subjugation). The method of almost divination that some used is very dangerous, because the emotionally shaken person seeks associations and can be an easy victim of scammers or people of bad faith. It is important to remember that mediumship is an aptitude that all human beings possess, and in no way can it be a means of earning income or being the object of merchandising. It is a practice of love and charity that requires much and continuous moral discipline from the medium. One should always check whether the medium's conduct meets the teachings left by Jesus Christ who repudiated pride, vanity and selfishness. 5 - The mediums of physical effects, used in materialization sessions, were used by spirituality at the beginning of the spiritist movement, because it was a way to impress the skeptic, the unbeliever and the materialist in the face of the reality of the spiritual world. Just remember the event of the "turntables" that led Allan Kardec to study this phenomenon that appeared in the USA and later in several countries in Europe. Gradually, this type of manifestation gave way to more effective means of communication, such as mediums with intellectual effects (audiences, speakers, psychics, writers, etc.). Therefore, it is essential to study the Mediums' Book. 6 - Never and under no circumstances make any kind of evocation like the “supposed ghost hunter” portrayed in the series. The answerer is not an evolved spirit and, certainly, still very backward and suffering because he is connected to the environment. Finally, points from the series that I found interesting: (i) the reports of near-death events, when the unfolding person saw his own body and interacted with family members who were already on the spiritual plane; (ii) the study carried out with terminal patients on the report of visits and the appearance of loved ones who had already passed away, which demonstrates the preparation for the individual's return to the spiritual plane; (iii) reincarnation, except, in my opinion, in the part that sought the old family of the reincarnate. If God allowed the “veil of forgetfulness” it was precisely to have the chance of a new beginning, without the weight of remorse in the face of the mistakes and mistakes made in previous existences. Our best “version” occurs in the current reincarnation and not in the past.

  • I've read and thought about these phenomenas a lot, when I was young and fascinated by lectures and writings of C. G. Jung, Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, Raymond Moody and others. I finally came to the conclusion: nothing "supra-natural" happens. It's all natural - we just aren't fit yet to understand these things. Maybe once we will know much more about consciousness, electromagnetic forces ... we will "get it", how a passed Loved One's spirit, like Alex, could use a TV channel to send his widow a message, or to steer a pigeon and an eagle, and to make his last living friend feel comforted by a coat of love ...

  • I'll say this, the first episode is really good and thought provoking. The cases of near death experience and commentary by various researchers and professionals is very interesting, but the following two episodes about mediums were just a joke. They were seriously some of the most cringe and hard to watch things I've ever seen. The "professional" mediums that they showed were nothing but con artists taking advantage of people's grief and desperation to reconnect with their lost loved ones. It was sad honestly, because I've grieved before and know what it's like to want to tell your lost ones that you love them one last time, but please don't fall for scams like these. Seriously, when they showed that one lady making those possessed voices at the beginning of the third episode I literally lost brain cells by how stupid it was. Then when they showed a group of people doing a remote face time seance, I just turned it off completely. The people who take advantage of others like this are just awful. I haven't seen the last three episodes yet, but I'm doubtful they'll be any better. Like I said, the first episode was great, I recommend watching that one only if you really are interested. The entire thing should've just been one long documentary focused on that only.

    • I did the same, just found it a few hours ago. Liked the first episode and was gaining interest until I saw the con artists in episode 2, I skipped to see episode 3 and that was it. What a poor con job..

    • the best episodes are the first and last one. I agree the medium episodes were super weird. The last one on reincarnation is great.

  • We all wish there was something but as realists we are born and we die and there is nothing, as was there nothing before we were born there is nothing after. Our bodies die, our lives end and it’s just nothing.......this thought haunts me day and night that one day I simply won’t be here

    • We don’t know that. Literally everyone that’s came back from being dead says otherwise. How can they experience things when they have no brain function?

  • I believe there is something after this life but we all have different journeys of passing on depending on the level of our spirit(consciousness). I believe that depending on your soul's journey you can pass on and stay with your spirit guides (becoming a spirit guide yourself) or pass through the spirit world and be reincarnated. The soul/spirit/consciousness holds on to memories in a different way from how the brain holds memories. Memories from past lives are stored deep within our souls/spirits/consciousness which is why they can be tapped into via the practice of past life regression. However, in some rare instances we are born with the memories of our past lives still intact and at the forefront of our conscious existence in this life. This is why we have young children who can recall past lives. They are examples of the rare occasions in which the soul/spirit/consciousness reincarnates with the memories of past lives fully in tact.

  • My aunt died when she was 18 or so, the next day her friend went to their house, when she got there she asked for her friend "dead aunt" and was told she died yesterday, she said that's impossible because she came to her house today and told her that there is a party going on in her house that she should go there and that she will meet her there but first she has to get to the market.

    • @AppleSeed Smoothie Is it also fair to say that you might not know one way or the other they might not be "false" beliefs. I mean really the act of believing is designated to each person and their experiences.

    • @My Story That's fair, I respect that. People have different ways of coping with grief. But at the same time it can become dangerous to start leading people down a rabbit hole of false beliefs. Religion being the obvious example

    • The aunts friend most likely got dates mixed up or there's something missing from the story (aunt spoke through the door and she thought it was the aunt or whatever). But more importantly, if the aunt was dead then why would her last message to her friend be so trival. Sorry to burst your beliefs but it doesn't take much indepth analysis to see where puzzle pieces don't align. Eye witness testimony is the least truth worthy evidence that can be presented in court for the reason that the brain is incredible unreliable at recording the truth
