Hopefully, it won't be disappointing like the 1st season. But I doubt it.
It's really wierd, I was so critical when I first heard Cavill would cast Geralt (as a witcher fan for over a decade its easy to slip into these protective gogle mode). But now, in retrospective I'm fascinated by the fact that Cavill is the only one treating the franchise with respect. The wrecking continues with even more awefull cast (Filippa is the latest casualty) and an impressive lack of respect for the world they try to retell, all in the name of netflix ideology, sapkowski won't lift a finger to save his life work from being defiled. This all tears my heart 😢

If you capture what made season 1 great this should be a fantastic season. Season 1 while a little slow at first I’ve watched the 1st season probably 4 times which is a testament to how great each episode was and made worth watching again and again. Henry Cavil is amazing is his role and same with the rest of the cast.
